Essex White Ribbon Club: Camden Town Brewery Social Event

Essex White Ribbon Club members toured Camden Town Brewery in a successful and sociable February gathering

On Saturday, 21st February, the Essex White Ribbon Club* hosted its second social gathering, embarking on a tour of Camden Town Brewery. This successful outing firmly demonstrated the Club’s ability to organise an enjoyable event within a brewery setting.

The Club was joined by Paul Tarrant the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent and Colin Felton the Deputy Grand Superintendent, both reputedly attending to further their daily advancement in knowledge. Members were treated to a captivating and educational talk detailing the history of Camden Town Brewery. After the presentation, a tasting session ensued, which, unsurprisingly, was met with great enthusiasm. The evening concluded with dinner at a Mediterranean restaurant, where a few pints and a kebab shared among good company provided the perfect end to the day.

Attendees included a diverse mix of Companions, from those progressing through Chapter offices to those recently Exalted. Throughout the day, lively conversation centred around beer, the responsibilities and experiences of taking office in Chapter, the upcoming Ceremony of the Veils demonstration, and, of course, more discussions about beer!

With further events scheduled for the coming months, the Essex White Ribbon Club remains committed to offering opportunities for learning and fellowship within the Royal Arch. New and returning members are warmly encouraged to join in the Club’s next adventure.

‘*’ The Essex White Ribbon Club is open for all Royal Arch Companions who have yet to receive Provincial Grand Rank.
